Racquet:
- New Racquets: If you, for any reason, wish
to return your newly purchased racquet, you can receive
either a refund or credit towards any other purchase
(your option). However, we do ask that you please
refrain from "testing" or playing with it in anyway.
WE CAN NOT REFUND RACQUETS WHICH DO NOT THIS CRITERIA!
Credit for string and shipping costs will only be
given provided the order was in our error. There is
no re-stocking fee.
- Defective Racquets: All the racquets we sell
come with a full one year manufacturer warranty. This
covers physical defects that are caused by natural,
unabusive means. If a racquet you purchased from TennisBums.com
appears to have a manufacturing defect within the
one year period, simply send the racquet back to us.
It takes approx. 4-5 weeks for a manufacturer to replace
a defective frame. The final decision concerning replacement
belongs to the manufacturer, not TennisBums.com.
- After the manufacturer decides: If your racquet
is replaced under the manufacturer's warranty, we
will string it at a one half the normal retail charge
for that string; you will be contacted prior to stringing.
Shipping of the racket back to you will also be paid
by you. If you chose to purchase a new racquet while
your racquet is going through the warranty process,
we will, at your option, issue a credit or refund
for the price of the first racquet upon its return.
TennisBums.com will issue only STORE CREDIT when you
do not wish to have the racquet replaced. If the manufacturer
determines your racquet is not covered under warranty,
we will return your racquet to you along with the
paperwork and explanation from the manufacturer. No
credits or refunds can be issued unless your racquet
is covered under warranty. In the case of a refund,
credit, or store credit, TennisBums.com can only apply
credit in the amount of the current price of the replacement
racquet (provided by the manufacturer). Shipping costs
for exchanges or warranty requests (where TennisBums.com
is not at fault) are billed to and paid by the customer.
